Creating a smile is a planning process that uses photos, videos and digital scans to design your new smile before any treatment starts. The dentist studies how your teeth relate to your lips, gums and face, then builds a digital design and often a trial mock-up you can see in your own mouth. How long does it take?
The records and design stage usually takes one or two appointments. The overall timeline then depends on which treatments your plan includes, from a few weeks for veneers to many months if orthodontics is involved.
