Start With Your Treatment Plan
Before you book a flight, send us a recent X-ray or photos of your teeth. Your free treatment plan sets out each appointment and how many days apart they fall, so your travel dates can be planned around your care rather than the other way around.
The timings below are typical. Your own plan gives the exact schedule.
Whitening and Cleaning
Professional whitening, with the check-up and cleaning before it, usually takes one or two visits. A long weekend is often enough, with time left over to see the city.
Crowns and Veneers
Crowns and veneers are made to measure in a dental lab, so they take more than a single visit. Your teeth are prepared and scanned, temporaries are fitted, and the final restorations are tried in, adjusted and fixed.
Most patients plan for around a working week. Leaving a spare day at the end gives room for any final adjustment before you fly.
Dental Implants
Implants usually mean two trips. On the first, the implant is placed, and you stay a few days so we can check that healing has started well.
The bone then needs time to fuse with the implant, commonly three to six months, which you spend at home. On the second trip, the final crown is fitted.
Plan Around the Clinic's Hours
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm, and on Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Arriving on a Sunday and starting on Monday morning is a comfortable rhythm for most visits.
Leave Room for Albania
Tirana is two to three hours by air from most European capitals, and it keeps the same time zone as most of Europe. For travelers coming from much of Central Europe, there is no time difference to adjust to, leaving the days between appointments easier to enjoy.
